An Adults Typing

Hi Mandy,

Long time no see. Anyway, I can't tell you what a surprise I had. I went down to the Rose and Crown last Friday night, and guess who was there, you'll never guess, it wasour oldpal Martin. I can't remember the last time he was out on a Friday, and guess what else, he was with a woman. Well, I'd never set eyes on her before so, you know me, I just had to find out all the details. She certainly didn't look like she came from around these parts, anyway, she was very sexy and Martin was obviously smitten by her. I even caught them in a very passionate embrace when I came back from the bar, (I thought the best way to get all the gossip was by buying them a couple of vodka and cokes, you know how Martin likes his vodka). Turns out they met on an online dating website, what's he like? They've only been dating for couple of months, but he's been doing this online dating thingy for ages, and has been on quite a few blind dates from what I could gather - none quite so successful as this by all accounts. I was really surprised, not about him really, because nothing he does surprises me any more, but she was really nice, young, attractive, sexy, I just couldn't imagine that she'd need an online dating agency to find a bit of romance in her life. Anyway, turns out she's from somewhere in Italy, but studying in Leeds at the moment, so Martin has been spending rather a lot of time there, brave of him to bring her here really, you could tell that his mates were really impressed, they'll all be on the online dating website by tomorrow, you just watch, if theyhave girls like that. Don't suppose it will be everlasting true love, but from the smile on his face and the gleam in his eye I don't suppose he's bothered, looks like he's having the time of his life. I'm really happy for him, he was pretty lonely in that poky little flat on his own, it's given him a new lease of life.

Anyway, must dash, got to check out the website myself, you never know, there might be some hunky guys just waiting for a little weekend entertainment. I'll let you know how I get on,
